Why choose Leather for a footstool?

Leather is a beautiful, natural material and is inherently fire retardant. The real leather hides that we source retain some of the animals original features like scrapes and scars giving a wonderful patina, each one unique. If you prefer, we also offer a very convincing and easy-to-care-for faux leather, suitable for vegans.

Here at The Footstool Workshop, we make each footstool to your specifications. You can choose the size, shape, fabric, feet and finish online. You can even approve your choice of fabric for your footstool, at home, via our free sampling service.

We run many colours and textures of real leather. You can even provide your own leather or faux leather to us for upholstery if you wish.

Antique Matt Leather

A natural half grain aniline leather with lots of character. A pleasant contrast of shades with a matt finish. 100% natural.

Faux Leather

Our Faux Leather has a soft handle and is incredibly hard wearing. This fabric is a perfect choice for Care Homes, Hospitals, Hotels and B&Bs as it does not support microbial growth, including M.R.S.A infection resistance, and is inherently Crib 5 treated.
